The kingdom of Kinmarr was flooded with monsters marauders and undead. Folk leaves dead fields in fear and the whole army was defeated on the march. It seems that Fate itself wants the country to plunge into the abyss of despair and chaos. In order to resist numerous calamities and regain control of the country the king calls on the help of his most faithful servants. Players take on the role of members of powerful guilds each with its own history and a set of abilities. Despite the great differences between guilds they are all interested in saving the kingdom. At the time of the start of the game 10 years have passed and during this time the guild has not succeeded in its mission. Kingdom shrank to the capital several large cities and war-devastated lands in their environs. There is no clear plot line in the game but on the cards you can find flavors about the world and the creatures inhabiting it.GAMEPLAYThe main goal of the game is to hunt for hostile creatures. Players go on long patrols over the lands devastated and disfigured by war and hunt the enemies of the crown in exchange for gold and favor of the ruling dynasty. One of the key mechanics is Fate. Its level reflects the willingness of the citizens of Kinmarr to fight with numerous misfortunes. Fate grows after each players defeat in battle and when it reaches a critical value the kingdom disintegrates under the onslaught of circumstances.Starting with the weakest opponents players get the first combat trophies that can be exchanged for equipment. It will increase the chance that the next patrol will be successful and the level of Destiny will decrease. Players constantly choose how to manage available resources - coins skill cards and items. The choice of one player can completely change the course of the whole game. There are many ways to play Fated Kingdom. Players can agree among themselves and act together helping each other in difficult times. This will make the game longer but will certainly please fans of teamplay. But the rules do not force participants to play that way. And if for success you need to substitute betray or even deliver a sneaky stab in the back then why not do it?TABLETOP SANDBOXStarting the development we set ourselves the goal of giving the players the exiting time spent at a real gaming table with a beautiful board with decks of cards dices and heroes. To do this we have implemented all the main advantages of real tabletop games the most important of which we consider full freedom of action. The game takes place in real time and all actions are done by its participants manually.Unlike many other digital board games Fated Kingdom has no control over the implementation of rules on the software side. They are clearly spelled out in the Rulebook that is available in the menu. As in real life the players themselves must ensure that the game goes by the rules. If desired and by mutual consent the rules may be changed shortened or supplemented. And of course at the table you can cheat. The main thing is that opponents do not notice it!
